Barry Lereng Wilmont (1936), is a Danish-Canadian artist , graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen at the Sculpting School under Professor Mogens Bøggild (1966-69) and at the Skolen for Mur og Rum with Professor Dan Sterup-Hansen (1969-72). He was awarded Danish citizenship in 1971. In Copenhagen he has exhibited in the Art Association at Gl. Strand 1977. Henrik Kampmann's Gallery 1980, 1981 and 2005, and in 1984 at Sofienholm (Goethe in Congo) in Lyngby. Among the works, at least the following should be mentioned: at the Panum Instituttet, a 15 x 3 meter polychrome relief called “Vildsvinejagten” (1999-2000) and “Bassin i hvidt og blåt” in Klostergården's passage in Copenhagen and “Den Cimbriske Frise”, a 10 x 2.80 meters polychrome at the Skødstrup school in Jutland.
